Device to stop distracted driving accidents in Skagit County
A teen inventor has created a device to stop texting and driving and prevent distracted driving car accidents. T.J. Evarts created the SMARTWheel at age 14, to keep teens safe while driving. It began when his friends started to drive and he noticed they were getting distracted and would engage in unsafe movements, such as moving hands away from the wheel, which could create a car accident.
The SMARTWheel is a wheel cover that tracks whether the driver has both hands on the wheel and warns them with a buzzing noise as well as alerts the parents. This device could help protect teens in Skagit County from distracted driving car accidents. To shop for the SMARTWHeel visit this link.
